Tuesday, April 22, 2014, EKU’s Risk Management and Insurance program hosted I-day on campus at the Center for the Arts.

This daylong event consisted of a catered breakfast, guest speakers, a luncheon, award presentations, and an engaging atmosphere in which over 50 insurance professionals, along with students, and faculty could connect.

April 22, 2014 - Four Eastern students majoring or minoring in Risk Management and Insurance were recognized at the annual I-Day event held at the Center for the Arts at EKU for exemplary research papers winning them top honors in the Insurance Institute of Kentucky (IIK) Paper Competition.

EKU Risk Management and Insurance senior Jarrod Wolfe, has been selected to receive the Westfield Scholarship. Wolfe, from Jackson, Ky., was notified of the national award by the Griffith Insurance Education Foundation.

Insurance professionals from the around the region will be at the EKU Center for the Arts Black Box Theater for a day of Continuing Education sessions and networking.  Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and program sessions begin at 8:00 a.m.
