Cincinnati Insurance Offers EKU Students Incredible Opportunity
On March 12, Cincinnati Insurance offered students the chance to join a Q&A session and enjoy some pizza. Interested students were seeking either employment after graduation or an internship opportunity.
Internships were available in the following areas:
- Commercial Lines
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Internal Audit
- Loss Control
- Machinery and Equipment
- Personal Lines
- Premium Audit
Full-time entry level positions were also available. Students finishing their undergraduate studies had the opportunity to learn about positions as field claims representative, underwriting assistant/underwriter, and in back office operations.
Presenting for the company were:
- Matt Fullan, Underwriting Manager in Commercial Lines. Fullan graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a degree in communications and started at Cincinnati Insurance in 2007.
- Katie Wash, Associate Human Resources Representative. Wash graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2013 with degrees in Human Resources Management and Marketing. She started in the human resources department with Cincinnati Insurance in June 2013.
- Kristin Goins, Corporate Recruiter. Goins graduated from Miami University in 2010 with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Business Legal Studies. In September 2014, she began working with the company in the HR department as a corporate recruiter.
