Where did you attend high school?  Marshall County (KY) High School

When did you graduate from EKU?   May 1993

Do you have a story about Dr. Kensicki that you would like to share? Although my experience in college was a short 4 years, during that time and since I have had the pleasure of meeting insurance and risk management educators from various universities across the country.  Dr. Kensicki is rare in being one of very few that genuinely promoted a career as an agent or broker.  Becoming an independent agent changed my life and I always appreciated the value that Pete places on the role of a professional agent.  That and many other reasons, he will always have my utmost respect.

Is there anything else that you want to say about how your time studying Insurance at EKU has helped shape your career? EKU’s Risk Management & Insurance program prepared me for a terrific career in insurance (not industry, Pete hated calling it that!). It gave me at least a 5 year head start with my peers of the same age.  More importantly, it gave me the foundation and instilled a culture of learning that I have maintained for the past 30 years.
