How did scholarship support from EKU's RMI Program help you make it through college? Did it change your life? If so, in what ways? The Scholarships from the EKU RMI program really have changed my life. With the extra help from the program I am graduating debt free. This has taken the burden of finances off my shoulders and allowed me to focus more on my studies. They have also allowed me the opportunity to travel places, including London, Bermuda, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, and Indianapolis. In going to these conferences, it has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the industry.
Where are you working now?I am currently employed by Eastern Kentucky University as a Resident Advisor, but I start this summer as an Intern at Auto-Owners
Did getting a scholarship from EKU's RMI Program make it more likely that you will help others? If so, can you talk more about that?EKU’s RMI program has helped me immensely. They have lifted the financial burden of college off my shoulders, which has allowed me to continue to invest in my future. I have first-hand reaped the benefits of how the RMI department invests in their students. This opportunity has opened my eyes to how generous companies and alumni are towards our program and influences me to want to donate to the program once I graduate, because I see how much it helps the student
