Sarah Smith, Risk Management and Insurance senior from Berea, is quickly becoming a success within the program.

In 2016, it was announced that Sarah had been chosen for a fantastic internship with Auto Owners in Lexington, Kentucky. The position was paid and gave her experience in claims. She also was able to earn her Adjustor’s License.

For more than three centuries, Lloyd’s of London has been synonymous with the insurance industry.

That’s why 13 Risk Management and Insurance students at Eastern Kentucky University were excited to give up their recent spring break to work at the fabled British firm, which houses various insurance companies on every floor.

EKU's Risk Management and Insurance program, in partnership with the Insurance Institute of Kentucky, will host the 2017 I-Day event on Thursday, April 13. This year's program, the Robert B. Morgan Insurance Conference, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Louisville.

Brianna Saylor, a senior from Berea, has been selected for the highly competitive, National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO) internship program.
